Arthur Hinnewinkel

Arthur Hinnewinkel is a classical pianist whose work is defined by a deep engagement with the German Romantic repertoire, particularly the music of Robert Schumann. Raised across multiple countries, his formation reflects an unusually broad range of influences, from early training in Singapore to studies at France's leading conservatories. His playing is marked by lyrical sensitivity and an interpretive maturity that has drawn attention in international competition circuits. A prizewinner at both the Clara Haskil Competition and the Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad, his trajectory points to an artist of considerable promise whose relationship with the Romantic canon continues to deepen. His debut recording, Schumann: Works for Piano & Orchestra (2025), was made with the Sinfonia Varsovia under conductor Marc Coppey.
