In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At five, my mom played country music, and I was mesmerized by songs like The House That Built Me. Though I didn’t understand the lyrics at that age, I felt the emotion. Those moments inspired me to create worlds where others could feel the same way. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fleetwood Mac, Fleetwood Mac (Deluxe) John Mayer, Battle Studies (Deluxe Version) Taylor Swift, folklore These albums made me believe I had stories to tell. It showed me that songs don’t always need life experience, just imagination. The three-song story of cardigan, betty, and august is a perfect example of this for me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In April 2024, I traveled to Europe to record live drums, piano, and guitar for my debut album. It was surreal to work with talented people who shared my dream—and got to travel Europe in the process. I left deeply moved by their love and support. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My dream is to tour, opening for someone, or one day, my own tour. I envision an elaborate stage show with costumes, sets, and my songs sung back to me. That would be the ultimate dream come true and biggest bucket list item in my career currently.
