Primitive Ring

Primitive Ring live up to their name in two ways: their sound is primitive guitar rock that will leave listeners' ears ringing. Powered by behind-the-scenes movers in the L.A. underground rock scene, the group lean heavily on the tried-and-true loud and nasty tropes of heavy metal and hard rock, but they do so with a furious energy and commitment to rocking, along with songs Blue Cheer would have been happy to call their own. The band began cranking out lo-fi singles almost as soon as they formed in late 2024, then delivered a speaker-rattling self-titled debut album in early 2026.
