About Tuni Kinq
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is sitting in our living room as a child while music played from an old speaker. The drums felt powerful, everyone was singing, and the whole room felt alive. That’s when I fell in love with music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burna Boy, Twice As Tall OMAH LAY, Boy Alone Wizkid, Made In Lagos I chose these three albums because they represent emotion, creativity, and global impact. They inspire me with honest storytelling, fresh sounds, strong production, and the way they connect African music to the world. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Deeds (feat. KILAS)” One of my favorite songs on Apple Music is “Deeds” featuring Kilas. It’s special to me because of the chemistry we brought to the track and the real message behind it. The energy, vibe, and collaboration made it unforgettable for me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was getting featured on an Apple Music editorial playlist with my track “Way Back.” It felt like a major breakthrough and a reminder that my music can reach a global audience. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, there’s still a lot on my bucket list. I want to perform on major international stages, win global awards, collaborate with top artists, and most importantly, represent Liberia on a global level through my music.
