In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started rapping in high school, Form 2 to be exact, from rapping along to Dramaboi's song to writing my own. My guidance Teacher wanted someone who can write a song about teenage pregnancy to present in the next class and the whole class chose me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cassper Nyovest, Solomon Cassper Nyovest, Tsholofelo Dramaboi, Township Music 2 I picked these three because they inspire my raps. I listened to a lot of Dramaboi especially his first album and the one I picked. Caspper Nyovest is the international Artist I look up to now. His music and his journey are a lot much relatable to me Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Tlhagiso” Tlhaiso is a heart felt call for change, not just to me but also to my fellow citizens of Botswana. It's a call for spiritual and self introspection. It is also special to me because it was inspired by my all time rap icon, in Botswana Dramaboi. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I was nominated for Best Amapiano and Best Collabo at the 8th Yarona Fm Music Awards (YAMAs) alongside Da Qutness, Dramaboi and BennyHotkeys. We ended up winning the Best Collaboration award Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely, I want to reach milestones, break records and make an impact with my music. I want to redefine what Botswana music can look and sound like on global stages. I want my music to be timeless, to speak positively and build generations to come
