Geologist

As a core member of Animal Collective, Geologist brings abstraction and electronic experimentation to the group's off-kilter pop songs. In addition to playing a role on many of Animal Collective's most celebrated albums, Geologist also explores the outer reaches of music-bending on projects such as his 2025 collaboration with Gang Gang Dance member Doug Shaw, A Shaw Deal.
