In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. my first love was my uncle's old dusty drumkit that lived in our basement. it was the first place i expressed myself as a kid, through the rhythms of my indian heritage. in my teens I became obsessed with samplers and making my own music What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Jai Paul, Leak 04-13 (Bait Ones) Varnish La Piscine, METRONOME POLE DANCE TWIST AMAZONE (Bande originale du film) Jai Paul gave me the freedom to make music that pushes the envelope. Varnish's chords and storytelling makes me dream bigger than ever, and D'Angelo's soul masterpiece reflects the divine channeling we achieve when we devote ourselves to god. I didn't overthink it, I just released something I thought was special, no editing or perfectionism. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The major milestone is finally gathering the courage to release my first record. the process of which is new to me and forcing me to grow in a bolder direction Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to make something that's meaningful for the world. I will push the needle, make something worth standing the test of time.
