About Ramadi
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My childhood was deeply influenced by the immortal voice of Fairouz, and it was during my teenage years that he discovered beatmaking, captivated by Scott Storch and his ability to blend the sounds of American rap with the tones of Arabic music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? DJ Snake, Encore Timbaland, Shock Value Wadih El Safi, Arabic Golden Oldies: Wadih El Safih - Al Rawaih Arabic Golden is the essence of the Lebanese music that rocked my childhood. Shock Value is the album that made me want to make music, it revolutionized everything in my mind. Encore is the album that made me want to move towards electronic music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mouaaah, Merci Habibi!” I think it's the sound that most resembles me, the energy, the oriental tones and the bass are really the synthesis of my musical personality. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The day I passed 100,000 subscribers on YouTube, I truly realized how much the music that was born in my mind can touch people around the world. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are so many things, concerts, festivals, sharing with the public, and collaborating and producing for other artists. I hope the adventure continues.
