In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember as a young kid going to the local park to see my grandfather play saxophone with the jazz band he was part of. My brother and I played on the playground while the jazz music echoed in the background and it was all just so simple and fun. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alex Somers, Jónsi, Riceboy Sleeps Riceboy Sleeps is a masterpiece and it took melodic slow ambient music to a whole new place when it came out. It's filled with so much warmth and heart and it's the album I've listened to most over the years. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Long Rain” Sailsetter, as a musical project, really came together for me with this particular song and opened the door to the sound that I was looking for--a delicate blend of ambient guitars, felt piano, and field recordings with a hopeful soul. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had the chance to work with Alex Somers on a song and he is one of my all time favorite musicians, so this was a very big deal to me. He's an incredibly creative musician and has worked with bands like Sigur Ros a lot. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I just want to make music and collaborate as much as I can.
