About From Harm
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 5th grade, my older brother introduced me to "Rocks Tonic Juice Magic" by Saves The Day. I remember screaming "WHY DON'T YOU STEP ON IT" at the top of my lungs and realizing the power of angst and camaraderie. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Comeback Kid, Wake The Dead Minor Threat, Out of Step The Black Dahlia Murder, Miasma Out of Step introduced me to straight edge culture and hardcore punk in general. Miasma is a perfect beautifully brutal record. Wake The Dead is iconic, when I close my eyes I imagine being one of the backup gang vocalists. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bastards” Bastards is an amazingly powerful song about a character, who could be the worst version of ourselves. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Travis Bryant of Terminal liked my song. His music has been an inspiration for years, and his approval means the world to me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We have an EP coming up later this summer whose compositions draw parallels between 16th century pagan hysteria in Colonial America and modern issues like societal oppression, homophobia, and religious bigotry. That's a bucketlist.
