Anja Bihlmaier

Conductor Anja Bihlmaier has often conducted opera and has held orchestral leadership posts in the Netherlands, Finland, and Britain. She is principal guest conductor of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. Bihlmaier has continued to conduct opera and has appeared in that field at the BBC Proms. She has made several recordings and backed pianist Yeol Eum Son with the Residentie Orkest in The Hague in 2025.
