In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I have a small memory of my father performing with a cajon in a decently sized club or restaurant in New York City. I remember sounds of rhythm and worrying that he was sick, but that's just the face he makes when he plays. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Bowie, Blackstar Jeff Buckley, So Real: Songs from Jeff Buckley Okkervil River, A Dream In the Dark: Two Decades of Okkervil River Live Jeff Buckley is a prime example of expressing yourself fully and with as much freedom as possible. A musical and vocal inspiration. David Bowie just did it. Okkervil River creates entire worlds with lyrics that take you on a full journey. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing with my parents on my birthday, at a community event that I helped create, was extremely special. Not only was it a bucket list item for my mother, but it felt like coming full circle, back to the kid who watched their parents perform. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We are just starting out, so there's plenty on the bucket list. Expanding our audience, going on our first tour, going on an international tour, making the second album, making the third album.
