In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up, my parents brought me and my siblings to watch the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra every weekend. I distinctly remember falling in love with the orchestra when I was 7, after experiencing a performance of Paul Dukas' L'Apprenti sorcier. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hans Zimmer, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Soundtrack from the Motion Picture) Soundtrack from the Motion Picture Jacob Collier, Djesse Vol. 4 John Williams, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Hans Zimmer's Pirates of the Caribbean 3 score was the first soundtrack I ever purchased Jacob Collier really innovates and pushes boundaries in Djesse Vol. 4 The timeless Harry Potter score by John WIlliams will always be a staple in my library What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being a part of the music team on Netflix's Vikings: Valhalla as additional composer has been a real treat! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to conduct a performance of my music live to picture with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and take that show on tour with orchestras around the world.
