In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember hearing village drums at night in Tanzania, Kidegembye rhythms felt alive, telling stories without words. That heartbeat of sound still inspires African Lofi today, blending ancestral energy with modern soul. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burna Boy, African Giant Fela Kuti, Expensive Shit Koffi Olomidé, Loi These albums shaped my sound and vision. Koffi taught me rhythm and storytelling, Burna showed me pride and global reach, and Fela inspired me to speak truth through music that moves both body and soul. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to bring African Lofi to a global stage and connecting with audiences worldwide. I also dream of creating a full visual universe for the project comics, animations, and immersive experiences that let people step inside the music.
