In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Standing in the middle of the car listening to Hank Williams songs and realising some of the songs and instruments sounded like the folk songs and traditional tunes my older brother was learning at school. Health and safety on 80's Ireland was slack! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, Blood On the Tracks Feist, Multitudes Kae Tempest, The Line Is A Curve This list changes. Dylan because of the songs and stories. Feist because of how complete the exploration feels. Tempest because they seem so comfortable with the simple and the complex, and because this record is in a different sonic sphere for me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've been lucky enough to play some cool gigs as a side man or part of other bands. So making a record mostly by myself was such a challenge and I've learned so much about myself. Like a meditation. It'll be nice to work with other humans again! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Buckets and lists can both be disappointing things. I'm just going to make another record and hopefully I can find a way to the next one after that. If I do that then hopefully the lists might look after themselves.
