Sami Galbi

Swiss-born Moroccan musician Sami Galbi creates a vibrant fusion of North African styles like Raï and Chaâbi, interpolating them with vintage synths and more contemporary electronic pop. He first made his name as the singer and bassist for the eclectic Lausanne group El Mizan before striking out as a solo artist in 2023. His debut album, Ylh Bye Bye, was released in 2025 by Swiss indie Bongo Joe Records.
