In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Being a 4 year old kid listening to my mother faithfully play music and my older brother being the first DJ in the family. He's the first DJ I was inspired by to become a DJ. The first genres I recall hearing at 4 was Disco, 80s dance and Hip Hop/Rap What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bruno Mars, 24K Magic Michael Jackson, Dangerous (Remastered) [Extra Tracks] Prince & The Revolution, Purple Rain (Deluxe Expanded Edition) 2015 Paisley Park Remaster I've been listening to Purple Rain before iTunes/Apple Music, since CD, cassette and vinyl. Dangerous is probably my most favorite Michael Jackson album. 24K Magic is my favorite because it's that 80's R&B and Funk sound that was captured majorly. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bust It Open (Juke Style) (Vocal)” I don't necessarily love this song, I like it a lot though lol, however this 3 track single is special to me because it's a composition that I solely wrote, produced, published and released on my label. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having a residency in Ibiza for 2 months alongside the late Chicago House legend Paul Johnson. My first major experience globally, hearing the songs that were club hits and learning how to play for mixed and large crowds. The best trip of my life! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Finally make my first full length album. Perform in countries I've never been. Get more production submitted for major label placements. Get Ghetto House/Juke music played on commercial radio like pop music is. Be nominated for (and or) win a grammy.
