About Makeshift Art Bar

Belfast-based noise rock band Makeshift Art Bar are a patchwork of searing guitars, defiant vocals, and a driving rhythm section. Their combined force can be overwhelming, but it's underpinned by insightful lyrics and a machine-like groove. Formed in the early 2020s, their debut single, 2023's "Inertia," gained a lot of attention, opening the door to gigs across Belfast. After forging a reputation for their live shows they released their debut EP, 2025's Lackluster Writing Makes Fundamental Reading.
