In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being a very young child and hearing my father playing his Beach Boys album on a record player. The harmonies and catchy melodies were incredible! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fleetwood Mac, Rumours Super Deluxe Edition Nirvana, Nevermind RAYE, My 21st Century Blues Rumours - literally every song on the album is incredible and the cover art is amazing. The production given the era it was made in is also incredible. For RAYE - it's a work of art literally. Nevermind is a cult classic and defined an era. Tell us why you chose this song. “Savior (Homeschooled Mix)” Savior was one of the first songs we ever performed together as IONA SKY. It was brought to life from an initial demo Anna had made and pulled in elements from the guys' indie backgrounds. The lyrics have a special place in our hearts too. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening on stage for X Ambassadors was very cool. Also being invited to tour the US (Philly and New Jersey) in August 2024 by a label was amazing! We're playing a few festivals this summer too which is always so much fun! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Lots and lots! Record a full album, tour Europe and Asia, collaborate with Wolf Alice! Really want to play a really big festival - Reading, Glastonbury, you name it!
