About Stuart Michael Thomas

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember going with my dad to the bowling alley around 1977 and there was a jukebox. My dad would give me a stack of change and I'd sit there and listen to music non-stop. I remember playing All Shook Up by Elvis way too many times. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Foo Fighters, Foo Fighters The Police, Reggatta de Blanc Remastered Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Damn the Torpedoes It's hard to pick a favorite Police album but the B-side No Time This Time just rocks. Foo just came out of the gate hard. Still mad I missed seeing them on that first tour. And Tom Petty was a non-stop spin when I was a kid. Lots of guitar. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bustin' Down The Door” This was such a fun soundtrack to work on. This track has a lot of these Pink Floyd touches but sorta borrows from a band I was in called Helicopter which had a lot of this sound. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Walking into Abbey Road to work on a score the very first time. I was working for James Newton Howard then.
