In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Ingestre Hall, 1980. A Summer Arts Residency Week for school groups. I went expecting to do Art, but was lured by music, as it was way more exciting! By end of the week I was fronting a band, and I wrote and sang the songs that we played. I was 18. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? KT Tunstall, Eye to the Telescope The Beatles, The Beatles (The White Album) Tom Petty, Full Moon Fever What the Beatles and EMI Studios did with just 4 and 8 tracks in 1968 is astounding production. Full Moon Fever and Eye to the Telescope are two albums that, to me, don't have a bad song on them. That is rare with any album, and why they're my top 3. Tell us why you chose this song. “Watching the Rain” To be honest, I love all of my songs, and the best one really is always the next one! That said, Watching the Rain has always been a favourite of mine to play, because it's quite simple, yet emotional. Have a listen and see what you think.
