About Lax'n'Busto
A leading Catalan rock band, Lax 'n' Busto have enjoyed a fruitful recording career and loyal fan base, especially in Spain, particularly Barcelona, where the band resides. Formed in 1986 in El Vendrell, Lax 'n' Busto issued their debut album, Vas de Punt?...o Què!!, in 1989. A recording contract with DiscMedi resulted, initiating a series of album releases for the label into the 21st century, until Lax 'n' Busto switched to the Música Global label in 2004. Vocalist Pemi Fortuny subsequently announced his departure from the band, and was replaced by Salva Racero. The band then recorded its first new studio album in several years, Relax. Released by Música Global in 2007, Relax returned Lax 'n' Busto to higher reaches of the Spanish album chart. ~ Jason Birchmeier
