Picture Parlour

Combining stadium‑sized riffs with moody atmospherics, Picture Parlour employs a literate strain of indie rock that channels the dramatic intensity of Nick Cave and Patti Smith, the soulful grit of Amy Winehouse, and the sharp modern edge of Alex Turner. Formed in Manchester and based in London, Picture Parlour is driven by the creative partnership of singer‑songwriter Katherine Parlour and guitarist Ella Risi, who founded the project during the COVID-19 pandemic. Face in the Picture, their first EP, appeared in 2024, setting the stage for the release of the band's assured debut long-player, The Parlour, in 2025.
