In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being inside a cabin by a fireplace in the woods and hearing the rain on the cabin roof. I remember feeling mesmerized by a song playing on a vinyl record. I can't recall what song it was but I remember the feeling. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bonobo, Fragments Kanye West, Graduation Radiohead, Kid A Bonobo - Fragments: Fantastic grooves, sounds and arrangement. "Elysian" is beautiful. Hypnotic. Radiohead - Kid A: Otherworldly. Innovative. Kanye West - Graduation: Incredible. Emotional. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ashes” Ashes is a song about second chances. We thought it would make a great first song to launch this project. We like to think of it as both hopeful and dreamy. Consider this a first glimpse into the dreamlike world of Future Pines. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment so far is a very long day in the studio recording about 100 tracks of different vocals for the song Ashes to get the ending sounding the way we wanted pictured it for the song. It was fun but also a lot of work. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes. We have a lot of music in progress that we are excited to work. Also, a lot of technology and video based projects. A few different types of concept records, collaborations, EP's, and singles too. Our bucket list is still very long.
