In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Void Vanguard is the metal alter-ego of British-Canada Alfred Hermida. He grew up to a soundtrack of Black Sabbath, AC/DC and Iron Maiden. His music is inspired by the New Wave of British Metal - bands like Motörhead, Saxon, Samson and Angel Witch. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Iron Maiden, Killers (2015 Remaster) Svalbard, When I Die, Will I Get Better? The Order of Chaos, Apocalypse Moon Svalbard's LP is part of the new wave of post-metal coming out of Britain, full of dark, brooding power. Killers by Iron Maiden is metal infused with the ethos of punk. Apocalypse Moon by Order of Chaos is a shining example of Canadian power metal.
