In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first music i made was on Christmas with my cousin and brother. He had downloaded FL Studio 12 and we made a song using the phone's microphone, then sending over the file. A real hassle, but it was fun! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, Midnight Marauders Nas, Illmatic Wu-Tang Clan, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) All 3 of these albums inspired/shaped me the most. The Wu Tang Clan really has that dirty sound, which made me want to sample vinyl with a sampler. Illmatic and Midnight Marauders are really soulful and jazzy, which i grew up on. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I always think of the moment that i won a producer/artist music contest against much older people. Over the span of 6 weeks, i teamed up with 3 artists. One of them made it to the finals with me. Eventually i won as best producer, he as best artist. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still really want to perform my beats with some bars over them for a nice crowd that likes my stuff.
