Entering the 2020s rap landscape at the age of just 13, Philadelphia’s Slayr used a barrage of early releases to refine his rage rap and digicore-driven sound. The release of his seventh mixtape, 2025’s Half Blood, pushed him to public and critical acclaim, soon compounded in 2026 by the project’s inventive companion piece BloodLuxe.
