In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In the summer, my dad’s rock band practiced in the garage. If my sister and I took our baths and brushed our teeth fast enough, we were allowed to sit on the vomit-smelling extracted mini-van seat and watch them play.
