Drummer Gregory Hutchinson is a tenaciously gifted performer known for his artful, yet hard-grooving style. A member of trumpeter Roy Hargrove's group of the 1990s, Hutchinson quickly became one of the most sought-after sidemen of his generation, playing with veterans and rising stars alike. Following an extensive list of credits, he made his solo debut with 2023's Da Bang, showcasing his Brooklyn jazz, neo-soul, and hip-hop roots. Drawing inspiration from Miles Davis' modal and fusion work, he delivered Kind of Now — The Pulse of Miles Davis in 2026.
