Tell us why you chose this song. “Angels Got His Back” The title track from BARD's newest album, Angels Got His Back is inspired by a poem by Vachel Lindsay about loss and the love and hope that sometimes comes from it. It's not a sad song. It's a celebration of the human spirit that gets you grooving. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording Angels Got His Back at Magic Door Studios with Ray Ketchem was incredible. We captured the live, spontaneous spirit of our music while also adding layers and texture. We had these songs cold, but were still able to break new ground. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So much. There are countless artists with whom we'd love to collaborate, venues we want to play and of course, new songs to write.
