Brandi has raw emotion and timeless storytelling. X Ambassadors’ has edgy, anthemic energy with bold hooks. Phoebe Bridgers’ album is hauntingly beautiful, blending intimacy with melancholy. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Don't Call You Anymore” I wrote this song about that moment when you reach for your phone to call or text someone you can’t anymore. Whether it’s a breakup or loss, this song is about that universal feeling of emptiness and longing when communication is no longer possible. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I borrowed a strangers fingernail clippers to cut my nails mid-set on stage at my show yesterday when I realized that they were too long to play my guitar. That was pretty memorable, not sure if it was in a good way though. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Too many things to list but I'd love to write and perform with some of my favorite artists.
