In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At seven, I snuck onto my uncle’s drum kit after his jam session with the band. I’d played the living room piano since I was four, but hitting those drums for the first time made my hair stand on end. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Earth, Wind & Fire, Gratitude (Live) Jimi Hendrix, Band of Gypsys The Allman Brothers Band, At Fillmore East (Live) Live These three live albums are my favorites because they capture soul and energy while carrying the flow and polish of a studio record. The performances feel alive yet intentional, and I grew up with them—so they’ve especially stuck with me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We once played a beach show with a 20-foot bonfire blazing in front of us. The music went on for nearly six hours straight, playing all kinds of songs—no occasion—just a night celebration. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We’re just getting started, so the bucket list is large. A full coast-to-coast U.S. tour is at the top, and we’d love to record and master an entire live set, then press it to vinyl.
