In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was in elementary school, I used to come home, make songs on my keyboard, and write. I would record myself on my mom’s devices while she slept (sorry mom)! Those times helped me find the soft vocals that appear in a lot of my music now. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Ocean, Blonde Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Tyler, The Creator, IGOR These albums shaped my teenage years. When I first heard Blonde at 13, I couldn’t explain why I loved it. I just kept replaying it. IGOR got me through my first heartbreak, and The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill made me fall in love with older music. Tell us why you chose this song. “TYM” TYM shows much of a mess I can be mentally while I'm still trying to stay present. It's chaotic while retaining its groove, much like life itself. TYM is a reminder that even when your mind is restless, the present moment is all we have. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I'll never forget those late-night recording sessions on my phone. I cherish the earliest memories of my music career, and they keep me grounded as I continue to build.
