In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is my first concert. My dad is a huge Van Halen fan, so naturally I got to see them whenever they toured through North Carolina. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? *NSYNC, *NSYNC Justin Timberlake, The 20/20 Experience - The Complete Experience Lorene Drive, Romantic Wealth These have been the most influential albums to me throughout my life. *NSYNC's first album is what made me love music, Lorene Drive helped me find other genres to work within, and the 20/20 Experience gave me the motivation to make my own music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “True Colors” I love this song because the lyrics came to me so easily. I wrote it from the perspective of a former partner and how they might have felt when I made some selfish choices that ended up costing the relationship. At least it's upbeat though! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Before making my solo music, I played drums in many bands back in Raleigh, North Carolina. My favorite memories will always be playing the final show at the Brewery and having a music video premiere at the Rialto Theatre. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? It's small goals for now, but playing Madison Square Garden and the 02 Arena are by biggest bucket list items.
