Tourist

London-based songwriter and electronic musician William Phillips makes yearning, bittersweet dance tracks under the name Tourist. Initially known for producing chillwave, he began releasing more uptempo material with 2013's Tonight EP. He co-wrote Sam Smith's Grammy-winning hit "Stay with Me" and released the full-length debut U in 2016. The clubby Everyday and the more experimental Wild both appeared in 2019. He continued to release lush, melodic dance tracks with subsequent albums Inside Out (2022) and Memory Morning (2024).
