In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is when I started playing drums at only five years old. Since then, I began to grow a great passion for music. I started learning other percussion instruments and piano. Music became an escape for me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Adekunle Gold, About 30 Asake, Mr. Money With The Vibe In these albums, each artist has a different story that speaks to me personally. From the beats to the lyrics to even the musical instruments, every song tells a different story. These artists' music and growth have been such an inspiration to me. Tell us why you chose this song. “Don't Cry” I wrote this song at a point in my life when I felt like no one was there for me but myself. I felt like I just had to do what I needed to get by. Instead of letting what was going on around me affect me, I just let it all out in a song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment in my career so far has been connecting with my community through my music. I love hearing feedback and stories from people who relate to my lyrics. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My dream is to continue creating multiple songs and albums that reach the world. I want to connect with people not only in my community but also people worldwide.
