In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 4, I’d sit for hours in front of the CD player, just swapping through discs and listening to everything I could find. I didn’t know much then, but I knew I was obsessed with finding a sound that I liked. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Green Day, American Idiot Keane, Hopes and Fears (Deluxe Edition) Mastodon, Crack the Skye We’re obsessed with the way Keane’s melodies, Mastodon’s technical grit, and Green Day’s raw energy collide. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Line's Been Drawn” The Line’s Been Drawn is the root of Pointless Culture. It’s the song Harrison Fantasia played for Harrison Hinman seconds after they first met, sparking the angst and drive that defines us. It’s the sonic blueprint of how we began. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to play a room full of people who actually knew the lyrics for the first time was surreal. Hearing those words shouted back at us was the moment we realized Pointless Culture was becoming something much bigger than just the two of us. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Our biggest dream is to reach more people who find a home in our music. We want to play shows where the room feels like one heartbeat and the lyrics we wrote in a basement belong to everyone. For us, that connection is everything.
