In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories would be my Aunt playing music from John Legend to Usher to Jay-Z while I would sit in the back of her Toyota Camry. Back then I never knew these would become my biggest influences. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? JAŸ-Z, The Blueprint Nas, Illmatic The-Dream, Love/Hate These are my top three albums that have impacted my art. The imagery that Jay-z and Nas use in their lyrics paint their experience of the City I am from also, is awe inspiring. The way The-Dream writes catchy lyrics has influence on my writing too.
