In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Dancing with my parents to cassette tapes in our little San Francisco apartment, around 2003. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A. R. Rahman, Swades (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Frank Ocean, Blonde John Mayer, Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live In Los Angeles If I had to live with only one song, I'd take "In Your Atmosphere" from John Mayer's Live in LA concert. A.R. Rahman has too many classic albums to pick one, but Swades is worthy. Frank Ocean's Blonde broke production and songwriting open for me.
