In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 8 years old, I wrote my first set of lyrics on a refrigerator note pad paper and always knew I was gifted at music. From begging my mother to take me to guitar lessons at a local music shop, to collecting old R&B CD's cases, I always knew. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jeezy, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101 Kanye West, 808s & Heartbreak Michael Jackson, Off the Wall As a true fan of music, I always appreciate projects that are cohesive and well put together with a meaning. These 3 albums completely changed my life in terms of bringing me into their world and showing me what music should do to your soul. Tell us why you chose this song. “Worth It” Believe it or not, this was my second song I ever officially recorded professionally at a studio. I wrote from a very personal point of view during a time where the song basically poured out of me. This still remains my most streamed song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I will never forget hearing my song on the local radio for the first time. That will forever be a milestone I cherish. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to sell out a stadum in my hometown of Dallas, Texas.
