About VIRUX
In the artist’s words: What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? My Chemical Romance, The Black Parade SampliFire, Ragnarok EP Sum 41, Order in Decline The Black Parade is the album that got me back into rock music several years ago. Order In Decline is a great attempt at pure metal from a pop-punk band, which has inspired a lot of my more recent music. Ragnarok is just some great dubstep. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “A Fleeting Memory” When first starting out in music, I made dubstep almost exclusively. However, after one rainy night, a few thoughts about life, and rediscovering my love for rock music, A Fleeting Memory started a tonal shift in my music that continues to this day. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Publishing Sky Fracture! I had made a few EPs beforehand, but had never actually tried a full album. To say my ambitions were high is an understatement. While the tracks themselves sound a bit dated, I'll never forget how proud I was of them. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The main thing I've been trying to do through my albums is to tell a story. Sky Fracture did an okay job, The Voidwalker's Nightmare did a bit better. I'd like to make a great electronic concept album that can succeed in this.
