Glasgow-based post-punk band Humour closely examine the form of other bands and choose to subvert it at every opportunity using both experimental song structure and self-aware lyrics. The band was formed in 2021 by a group of flatmates; hailing from all over Scotland they had converged in Glasgow to study music at university. They released their debut EP, Pure Misery, in 2022 and began touring Europe. The following year saw them take their sound stateside, with an appearance at SXSW, and later the same year a second EP, 2023's A Small Crowd Gathered to Watch Me, was released. They spent two more years touring and writing their debut album, 2025's Learning Greek.
