Boko Yout

The Swedish band Boko Yout take an outsider's path into indie rock, pioneering a visceral punk, funk, and alt-rock mix they refer to as Afro-Grunge. Originally a solo vehicle for frontman Paul Adamah, the project launched in 2022 with the experimental single "Anxiety," and went on to release a pair of highly regarded EPs, including 2024's Griot, a collaboration with producer Boerd. Adamah expanded Boko Yout into a full band for their 2025 debut album, Gusto.
