About Eli Waltz

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Dad and I are were in the car, and Led Zeppelin's "When the Levee Breaks" came on the radio. My Dad asked me, "Do you know what instrument that was?" and I guessed, "Guitar?" He replied, "Nuh-uh... that's harmonica believe it or not." What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, Another Side of Bob Dylan Canned Heat, John Lee Hooker, Hooker 'N Heat All three albums are colossal influences. Townes' songwriting in his self-titled album, Alan Wilson's harmonica playing throughout Hooker 'N Heat, particularly in the song "Drifter," and Bob Dylan's genius lyric writing. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mrs. Tanner” I wrote the words to this song in Medellin, Colombia in 2015 in my travel journal. The lyrics were set to an entirely different chord progression. I never wrote down the chord progression, so when I returned to the song in 2021, I reimagined it!
