Poison Ruïn

Philadelphia's Poison Ruin blend elements of black metal, darkwave, and anarchist post-punk with a doomy, dungeon-crawler aesthetic that summons the drab hues and existential dread of the dark ages. Upon inking a deal with Relapse Records in 2021, the group issued an eponymous full-length effort. Poison Ruin then issued their 2023 sophomore long-player, the totemic, dungeon-synth opus Harvest, which reworked escapist fantasy imagery to reflect contemporary horrors.
