The Awesome Machine

Based out of Nol, Sweden, the Awesome Machine formed in late 1996 from the inspiration of King Diamond and Motörhead. With their 1998 self-titled debut 10" EP that came out through their own funding, Anders (bass), Christian (guitar), Tobbe (drums), and Lasse (vocals) completed the lineup after a number of revolving members. Following the 1999 EP of Doom, Disco, Dope, Death and Love, the German-based People Like U Records signed the Awesome Machine and eventually released their first full-length Wild and Hot in 2000. ~ Mike DaRonco
