About Charlie Lovell-Jones

Among Britain's most promising young violinists, Charlie Lovell-Jones has gained notice as concertmaster of the Sinfonia of London as well as from soloist and chamber music appearances. He has a strong commitment to contemporary music and has recorded, among other releases, an album devoted to music by queer, Black, and female composers. Between 2013 and 2021, Lovell-Jones' career was helped along by victories in several major competitions. He has been heard on various albums, including on a performance of the Violin Concerto of Ruth Gipps in 2025.
