About villagerrr

Villagerrr is an outlet for the intimate, shoegaze-imbued Midwestern songs of alternative singer/songwriter Mark Allen Scott. Established as a solo project in Ohio in the early 2020s, he released four albums under the moniker within 14 months before a five-piece version of villagerrr was introduced with 2024's Tear Your Heart Out. The group signed with the Winspear label for a multi-format reissue of the album the following year. Its tender follow-up, Carousel, arrived on the label in 2026.
