Drill rapper Screwly G represents Gary, Indiana with alternately combative and reflective verses and a relentless flow. He debuted in 2020 with the plaintive "Real Spill" and built an online following that continued to grow with the release of tracks such as "4 DA HARD WAY," "Before I Go," and "NO Where to Go." Over the course of 2022 and 2023, Screwly progressed with the independent full-length projects What Its Gone Take for Them to Notice Me, Thoughts of a Gunna, No Pain No Gain, and Me vs Me, and raised his profile significantly with the single "F the Opps." Signed to Lil Bibby's Grade A Productions and major-label Geffen in 2024, he released Murda Man, an uncompromising set highlighted by "Come On Let's Go" and a remix of "F the Opps" (featuring 21 Savage), that August. Tracks like "Letter to Fam" and "Demons Whispering" followed in 2025.
