Cigarettes @ Sunset

With their mixture of folk-rock, Americana, and rugged indie rock, Cigarettes @ Sunset are a band whose sense of place is deeply rooted in their Appalachian hometown of Boone, North Carolina. Already a regional favorite, the group's 2023 debut, Mr. Pucky and the Star Destroyers, helped solidify their national presence which they continued to bolster through heavy touring and follow-up EPs like Doom Complex (2024) and A Good Year for Hunting (2025). After signing with Lost Highway, Cigarettes @ Sunset made their label debut with 2026's Possum Rock, a term they coined to describe their sound.
